A Large Home Fit for the Family

The Owner’s entrusted us to build their forever home. Their desire was to have a home that made a statement but also sat comfortably into its beautiful surrounds. Large spaces, clean lines, large windows, ample storage and a high-quality fit-out, meant the home is fit for its superb location.

A texture coated brick veneer finish with Basket Range sandstone features and alcuobond trim around the front and side elevations have achieved the desired, understated element of quality and design. Honed granite external window sills add another quality touch.

This home starts with a large entry with garaging to the right (lined with impact resistant plasterboard and fitted with ample storage options) and the opulent master suite to the left. A spacious bedroom, walk in robe and ensuite fitted with quality cabinetry and lighting provides the Owner’s with a completely private zone to call their own.

In the entry, the coffered ceiling with feature LED lighting, timber console, and silicon butt window gives you a hint to the rest of the style and quality of the home. Light, bright and large.

Large tiles lead you down into the main living area. Floor to ceiling commercial, double glazed windows with remotely operated blinds hidden in pelmets allow the light to flood in. The living space is centered around feature cabinetry with the kitchen fitted with quality Miele appliances and Caesarstone benchtops.  Extensive cabinetry gives ample storage space. A utility room hides all the inner workings of a kitchen; it is also fitted out with a Caesarstone benchtop and 2 pack cupboards.

Above the kitchen island bench is a feature recess with an electronically controlled skylight. At the rear of the kitchen and with direct access outside is the laundry, again fitted out to compliment the kitchen.

Off of the living area, a quality appointed home theatre awaits, with solid-core doors, acoustic seals and soundproof insulation offers an extremely comfortable room to enjoy a true home cinema experience.

Two large bedrooms for the guests and an office with seven windows to enjoy the view out to the garden fill out the back of the home. These all share a large common bathroom and separate powder room which are tiled to the ceiling and fitted with quality cabinetry and sanitary ware. All bathroom windows are set above the mirror to provide light and a view of the trees.

The impressive interior of the home may only be surpassed by the exterior, mainly the outdoor area. Three electronically operated skylight windows give the Owner’s the benefit of the sun without the Adelaide hills weather. A well-appointed outdoor kitchen with feature copper glass splashback and a wine fridge finish off an area of style and functionality.

The home is heated with hydronic underfloor heating and reverse cycle mini-duct air conditioning.  The Owner’s also wanted a sophisticated intercom and alarm system, along with a networked data cabling system throughout the home.

After many years of dreaming the Owner’s now have their stunning and sophisticated forever home nestled in a quiet street overlooking the Wittunga Gardens.
